Getting set up with Claude and ChatGPT

The goal for this module is simple: every participant should have Claude and ChatGPT open on a laptop or tablet, and signed in on their phone.

1. Open Claude in one browser tab: https://claude.ai
2. Open ChatGPT in another browser tab: https://chatgpt.com
3. Create accounts with a work email where appropriate.
4. Install the mobile apps and sign in.
5. Try a new chat, chat history, file attachment, and voice input.

• Model pickers can be confusing. Explain them in one line and move on.
• Free tiers are enough for this getting-started course.
• Chat history and memory are not the same thing. Learners should know where memory settings live and how to turn them off.
